The Sales Associate is responsible for aiding the Store Management Team in establishing, displaying, and upkeeping a temporary retail establishment. Their duties include delivering outstanding customer service and aiding in the day-to-day running of the store, such as driving sales, maintaining cleanliness, and preventing theft.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Sales Associate:
- Help with arranging, displaying, packing, and dismantling the store.
- Deliver exceptional customer service that aligns with the company's established protocols.
- Assist in boosting sales by interacting with customers in a compelling manner and attracting them through sign waving.
- Keep the store clean and organized by performing various housekeeping tasks.
- Carry out merchandising, signing, and pricing duties to maintain precise product arrangements.
- Efficiently manage the point-of-sale (POS) system to facilitate sales transactions.
- Adhere to loss prevention protocols for the protection of store resources.
- Follow safety guidelines, such as ascending ladders and managing retail displays.
Qualifications and Experience of Retail Sales Associate:
- A minimum age requirement of 16 years old must be met.
- Proficiency in ascending ladders and arranging installations.
- Able to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of remaining on their feet and moving around comfortably for a maximum of 8 hours at a time.
- Proficient communication abilities and excellent customer relations expertise.
- Proficiency in handling the demands of a dynamic and seasonal retail setting.
