Position Summary:

The Stockroom Coordinator holds accountability for managing the warehouse activities in all the retail stores. Their duties involve overseeing the work of warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, while assisting the Receiving Stockroom Coordinator in maintaining freight schedules that align with customers' requirements.

Stockroom Coordinator Major Duties:

• Arrange the daily timetable for the warehouse staff to enhance productivity in shipping and receiving.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including tasks such as shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintenance.
• Dealing with Storage Buy transactions can be a complex process that involves careful management of inventory and ensuring that the correct products are being sent.
• Keep warehouse equipment functional by conducting regular preventive maintenance and repair works.
• Make sure that the warehouse is a safe and compliant workplace by adhering to the rules and regulations set forth by OSHA.
• Teach employees the standardized procedures for operating equipment and tools.
• Respond to employee questions and resolve their concerns effectively, using clear communication and active listening.
• Work in collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth functioning of warehouse operations.
• Management will be provided with comprehensive activity reports that outline the productivity and progress of the company's operations.
• Keep track of the transfer of documentation between the Receiving department and the Inventory Control Specialist.
• Rectifying Differences in Shipping, Invoices, Packing Slips, and Receiver Reports.
• Implement the Audit Procedure for Purchasing Storage.
• Prepare items for counting and inspection with the use of stage products.
• It is crucial to maintain appropriate storage conditions and rotate inventory regularly.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Stockroom Coordinator Professional Background:

• The candidate should have at least one to three years of experience in managing and supervising employees in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Outstanding abilities in developing interpersonal connections, building teams, delegating tasks, and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Possessing the skill of working seamlessly with other departments.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Skilled in fundamental arithmetic computations.
• Skilled in handling computer systems that are Windows-based.
• Being able to excel in a high-speed workplace and achieve deadlines with ease.
• Flexibility to work longer hours when demand is high.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS

• The job requires the capacity to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or move items that can weigh up to 60 pounds and frequently handle objects weighing 20-30 pounds.
• Proficiency in manipulating and sensing objects through the use of fine motor skills.
• Everyday tasks such as standing, walking, and reaching are commonly performed without much thought.
