Job Summary of District Asset Protection Manager:

Burlington Stores is seeking a strategic and results driven professional to lead asset protection efforts across a multi store district. This role is instrumental in implementing safety programs, driving shortage control, and reducing risk. By fostering strong partnerships with store teams and ensuring compliance with security standards, this position supports operational integrity and protects both company assets and customer experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of District Asset Protection Manager:

• Oversee the execution of asset protection and safety programs across multiple store locations.
• Collaborate with store management, operations, HR, legal, and inventory teams to align on shortage control initiatives.
• Conduct audits, analyze findings, and implement action plans to drive compliance and reduce risk.
• Lead investigations involving internal and external incidents, utilizing tools like Think LP and Secure 5.
• Manage physical security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and electronic surveillance systems.
• Provide leadership and training to store teams on asset protection protocols and best practices.
• Oversee district staffing and payroll management for shortage control associates.
• Maintain strong relationships with law enforcement and legal entities for criminal and civil matters.

Qualifications and Experience of District Asset Protection Manager:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in retail asset protection, with multi-unit or district-level leadership.
• Proficiency in asset protection systems including Think LP and Secure 5, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in internal investigations and external apprehension procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
• Ability to travel frequently within the designated district to store locations.

Salary:

Minimum $70,000 to Midpoint $95,000 aually, based on experience and qualifications.
