The Cashiers at Floor & Decor are tasked with ensuring that each customer shopping experience is a positive one. To accomplish this, they must offer friendly hellos, process transactions efficiently, handle returns, and carry out other cash office duties with a high level of professionalism.

Essential Job Functions:

• Make sure that every customer is offered a pleasant and helpful greeting upon arrival.
• Develop a bond with patrons, initiate conversations on their projects, suggest our products, and evoke enthusiasm regarding their purchase.
• Great customer service isn't just about meeting customer needs, but it's about anticipating them and exceeding expectations to leave a positive lasting impression.
• Display a working knowledge of safety procedures and its importance in the workplace.
• Conduct yourself in a way that embodies the company's fundamental beliefs.
• Use the POS system to carry out the payment process when customers check out.
• Utilize approved procedures to manage customer returns and exchanges.
• When you're ready to finish up the day's business, close all the registers and lock them securely to prevent any unauthorized access to the cash.
• Observe the accepted methods of accepting cash, checks, and credit cards.
• Heed to the guidelines when picking up the phone in line with the company's protocols.
• Systematize, brand, and put on view items as needed.
• Generate unique labels for each item to avoid confusion or misinterpretation.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• Those who are below the age of 18 are not eligible to participate
• The ability to perform basic arithmetic operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is a valuable skill in many industries
• Customer service experience
• Traveling to different locations for support is an option

Traveling to different locations and working in diverse surroundings is a crucial aspect of some jobs. However, it can also have an adverse impact on workers' health and performance:

• During the course of this employment, the individual may encounter a warehouse and mobile transport. The noise levels in the work environment are ordinarily mild to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

• To perform the duties of Medium Work, the employee should have the ability to apply a force of 20 to 50 pounds now and then. In other instances, the employee may require to apply a force weighing between 10 to 25 pounds frequently or up to 10 pounds of force continuously to lift, move, or displace objects. The job duties entail using the employee's hands and fingers to manipulate or handle objects frequently. Furthermore, at times, the employee may be required to stand, walk, reach out with their arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl according to the task required.
